A cable software management company in Austin, Texas is looking for a lead VB.Net developer to add to its team.

The VB.Net Lead Developer will serve as the technical team lead for the specification, design, development and implementation of products. This person is critical in ensuring that project deadlines are met by keeping the team on track as well as leading the development process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the design and development of an application going through conversion from a legacy platform to VB.Net
Lead team of developers to ensure project timeline is correct and on track
Ensuring defect-free software delivered through coding quality and proper testing
Identify and develop capabilities to help manage the deployment, sustainment and management of mission-critical client facing applications

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years experience designing, developing and implementing commercial software applications
Expert understanding of .Net/VB.Net, with 3+ years experience developing client/server applications
Extensive experience with distributed component architectures and component based development
Understanding of basic accounting ideal
Experience with cable back office systems ideal
Highly motivated with a goal oriented personality
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally, including upper management, the development team, as well as customers

Responsibilities include:

Timely support to Hyperion Management Reporting users and Hyperion Essbase development
